A severe low pressure system is forecast on Australia’s east coast that will bring heavy rain to southern New South Wales on Monday. Crushed.

At least 29 people were rescued from the floodwaters, including one who was hanged at the pole for an hour as workers struggled to reach them.
The body of a man who was pulled from a cake has been recovered from Sydney Harbor, police said, adding that conditions are under investigation but appear to be related to wind conditions.
Federal Emergency Management Minister Mori Watt proposed more troops and said Monday that the government has activated a satellite emergency management system to help with flood relief efforts.
